# My AI client lists the DevHub skills but never uses them

> Fixed in 0.5.0: the instructions file named a skill that did not exist and package descriptions did not say when to use them.

**Symptom:** The client lists the skills DevHub installed, but the agent does not open them. It does not call `vault_overview` first, and it does not follow your branch or commit rules.

**Cause:** Before 0.5.0 the instructions file DevHub wrote named one skill that no folder carried any more. Skill descriptions were labels, not triggers, so the agent had no reason to open them. This is fixed in 0.5.0.

**Solution:**

Fixed in 0.5.0: update DevHub. Then write the installations again, because the files in a folder keep the old text until they are updated: open **Harnesses Manage** and click **Update** on the installation, or click **Update installed skills** on the Agent Intelligence page. Start a new session in the client.

The instructions file now lists one line per package actually written, named after its folder, and says that the narrower package wins where two disagree.

**Applies from:** 0.5.0

If the problem stays on a current version, write to [support](/support/index.md) and say which client you use.
