Install

The download link is not public. It arrives by e-mail once access is granted to your Vartari ID. Use the installer that matches your Mac: one for Apple Silicon, one for Intel. If you are not sure which, see Requirements.

1. Open the .dmg file you downloaded.
2. Drag the DevHub icon to the Applications folder.
3. Open DevHub from Applications. macOS says it cannot verify the developer and does not open it. This is expected: DevHub is not yet signed with an Apple developer certificate.
4. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the message about DevHub and click Open Anyway.
5. Open DevHub again and confirm.

You do this once, on the first start. If the prompt does not go away, see Troubleshooting.

When a new version is available, DevHub shows the banner “Version x.y.z is available.” with Download and Later. It downloads the installer and opens it for you; you drag the icon to Applications again. Nothing downloads or installs without you asking.
